Habitat

It can be seen in forests, tree crops and parks. Lives in habitats like the Eurasian Treecreeper, but are more typical of lower altitudes. It prefers low regions with leafy forests.

Description

A small bird with a relatively long, downward-curving beak. The upper part of the bird is brown with faint dark mottling while its underparts are dirty white. Stiff tail feathers. Little marked super ciliary list. They climb jerkily up the trunks and thicker branches of trees, then fly down to the base of the next tree, and so on.
