Habitat

With an excellent capacity for adaptation, the magpie is the most widespread corvid and the most numerous in our territory. Common near farms and cultivated areas, it also visits urban areas, orchards and gardens in search of food.

Description

A medium-sized corvid with a strong, unmistakable beak, the bluish-green iridescence in its black-and-white plumage stands out, especially in its long tail. The outermost part of the flight feathers, the shoulders and the belly are the only white parts. It is a very intelligent and not very fearful bird.
