Habitat

Mainly wintering in the Iberian Peninsula, being very abundant in forests, fluvial groves, marshy places, gardens and agricultural areas. It breeds in open groves and with tall deciduous trees.

Description

Small, compact and muted colours. Greenish brown above, whitish below with a variable yellow and ochre hue on the throat and chest. Dark legs, fine and quite dark beak, pale and short eyebrow. It usually "flips" the tail down when moving through the canopy.
