Habitat

One of the most abundant seabirds in the Mediterranean basin. Very common near the cliffs of the coast, in Spain it has frequented inland areas for years. This species is able to easily expand its range due to its enormous adaptability.

Description

A sizable gull with white head, yellow legs, thick yellow bill with a red speck. Red eye ring. It has a dark greyish back in contrast to the white ventral areas. The outer flight feathers are black with small white spots.
